So … again it’s been forever since I’ve updated. But, for some reason, I’m just in the mood to update right now. It’s pretty much been amazing living here in Philadelphia this summer. I’ve been having a really great time. Yeah, of course I miss being at home for the summer, and seeing everyone there, but this is a really nice way to spend the summer. I have been having a great time living here, and it’s amazing to be able to see most of my friends whenever I want. For the last week and a half, it’s been a little strange, since Christina, Dave and Mike were in Texas for Collegiate Challenge, so I didn’t hang out with them during that time, obviously. I’ve also been working a lot at Chili’s, which is pretty much a good thing. I’m making good money, and I like most of the people I work with, which is always a plus. It’s dull at times, and obviously not the dream place to spend my time, but, all in all, it’s not bad for a job that I’m at 40 hours a week.

So … this weekend was pretty much filled with work and friends, which was fun. I had to work both lunch and dinner on Friday, which pretty much sucked. But, I made money, and that’s pretty much all that matters. On Saturday morning, I went to see X-Men 3 with Joe and Julie. I was looking forward to that movie, and while I don’t think it was as good as the first two, I still think it was a good movie. It was a little disappointing, I feel, since it had been hyped up so much, but it wasn’t a bad movie or anything in it’s own right . I enjoyed it a lot; I find it was just a fun summer movie. Saturday night I had to work again, which actually sucked. It was pretty much just one of those nights at work. I didn’t end up leaving work until around 1:00 in the morning, which also sucked. Oh well. At least it was over. The really disappointing thing, however, was that I had to work both lunch and dinner on Sunday as well. That was also pretty boring, as we weren’t really that busy, since it was Memorial Day weekend. But I found it to be the perfect amount of not-busy – I still had plenty to do, and I made fairly good money, but I never was at the point where I felt overwhelmed. That’s a relaxing feeling. I got home from work pretty early, actually, which was very nice. I hung around the apartment for a while with Julie, and we decided that we were going to have a Memorial Day barbecue the next day.

So yesterday was a busy day, but one of the most fun that I’ve had in a while. Julie and I woke up around 11:00, got dressed, and then went to Acme to get food for the barbecue. We ended up going regular grocery shopping as well, which seemed to be an important necessity. Then Joe and Julie went to pick up Dave, and the four of us went over to Wolfington to get all set up for the barbecue. Sarah came over, and the six of us had a really fun barbecue in the afternoon. I had a good time … It’s fun to do stuff like that with your friends. Then, unfortunately, I had work. So I had to be in at 4:00, which wasn’t that bad, since that meant I could be the first person to leave at night. So he cut me around 9:00, since we were completely dead. I mean, who goes to Chili’s on Memorial Day? Most of my customers were obviously stopping on the way home from the beach. So, Keith and Christina had spent the whole day on Keith’s boat, but I had called htem earlier, and they agreed to come hang out after I got out of work. So they called me when they were leaving the boat, and said they’d be about 45 minutes, and I guessed I’d still have an hour more of work. So Keith and Christina met me at Chili’s, and I was almost done, just finishing cleaning my section. So they sat while I did that, and hten the three of us came back to my apartment. It was fun hanging out with the two of them; I miss that a lot from school. The three of us spent so much time hanging out, that it was fun just to do it again. So we hung out here for a while, and then we went over to Mike’s apartment. Joe and Julie had just left, so we must have crossed paths on the way. But Mike, Dave, and Sarah were still there, so we hung out for a bit, and watched some Family Guy. But, I was starving, and everyone else wanted to get food, and Christina really wanted dessert, so we left to go to Applebees. But it was 11:00 and Applebees was closed, so we ended up at IHOP. That was pretty much tons of fun, just hanging out all of us again. Then Keith and Christina went home, and Mike, Joe and Dave went to go hang out at Mike’s apartment, and Julie and I came back here and watched some Sex and the City. So … fun times.

So, it’s been a ridiculously long time since I’ve updated. I don’t know why. For so long, it was just so natural for me to update the journal. I really enjoyed doing it, and I often felt much better afterwards. I kinda figured I stopped because I was so busy at school, and I’d start again once it was summer and I had more free time. Well, it’s summer, and I have an abundance of free time, and I’m not updating. For some reason. I don’t even know if I’m really updating now. For some reason, the idea of just writing for a while about what has been happening to me just doesn’t strike me as something that I really want to do.

So, I guess just a general overview them. So, school ended, I went back to Connecticut with Cathy for a week, and now I’m back in Philadelphia living with Julie (and Joe). Connecticut was fun; Cathy I did a lot of shopping, eating out, and hung out a great deal with people I used to work with. We went out to Antonio’s, the new restaurant, one night with Daron and Jeannie and Katie and Alan White, which was tons of fun. Then another night, Cathy and I went to visit Katie at her new sushi restaurant, which was, surprisingly since I don’t eat sushi, a really fun night. And then we also went out to brunch the morning before we came back with Jeannie and Matt and Katie. We just watched a lot of movies and laid around and were generally lazy. So, all in all, I had a really good time when I was at home.

When I came back to Philadelphia, I was already moved into the apartment. Julie was in D.C. for a while, so it was just Joe and me for a couple of days, and now it’s going to be me, Joe and Julie for a while, and then Joe will move in for Summer Scholars sometime soon. But, all in all, we’re having a fun time. I”ve been working at Chili’s more, and surprisingly, doing very well. Knock on wood. But, I enjoy most of the people I work with, and, as I’m really not doing anything else this summer, I don’t mind at all the work. It’s nice to have something to do, and, even if I work a double shift, I still am home by 11:00 and have a little bit of time to hang out. It’s not like the super-hectic school year days where sometimes I didn’t have a moment of free time several days in a row. So, I’m enjoying it. I’ve always enjoyed work, especially when it’s something like this where there is a clear payout at the end of every night. I enjoy walking with cash every night, as it makes the work seem to be worth so much more.

Other than that, I’m excitd to be in Philadelphia. It’s nice to be able to see my friends. Joe and I were able to hang out with Dave one night and we saw Mission Impossible 3, and I’ve hung out with both Cathy and Trinica, which has been fun. Tomorrow, I’m supposed to hang out with Dave,Christina and Keith once I get off work, and then we’re all going to go see The DaVinci Code on Friday morning. So, all in all, I’m having a really fun time in Philadelphia.

It’s strange to feel so grown up, but I do. I have real bills, and it’s up to me to pay them. I mean, obviously, if I couldn’t, mom and dad would pay them, but, it’s up to me. I’m completely responsible for budgeting my money, which I have been for a long time, but now there’s real bills to go along with that. So, I like feeling so grown-up, although I’ll admit that it is kind of strange.

So, I don’t know what else to write about. Life is pretty much all good.

So … it’s been forever since I’ve updated. I’ve been soooo crazy busy. It’s so hard for me to explain. It seems like I have every second of every day booked up, and those times that aren’t booked, I’ve already planned out as free time. Oh well. It’s fun. Just busy. College seems to be flying by at such quick speeds.

I guess I last updated before Easter break. The week before Easter break went by so fast. I had so much due … so many things to finish. So … I had to work on Tuesday night, which actually wasn’t that bad. So Wednesday was super busy. I had a marketing test at 10:00, then a law test immediately afterwards at 11:00. The marketing test I thought was pretty easy (I already got it back and a got a 100), but the law test was pretty difficult. Definitely harder than the first one. But it was still curved, so I got an A-, which isn’t that bad. So, I went to lunch after that, and then went to Western Civ and Brain and Mind. Both were kind of boring, which was actually a nice let down from the stress of studying for two tests. Afterwards, I came back to Merion Gardens and finished up my history paper, which was such a relief to finish. Afterwards, I made dinner with Cathy and GInene, and hung out down there for a while. We watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune for a while, then I came back upstairs. I ended up hanging out in the guys apartment. We rented another disc of “24” and then we watched all of those. So I didn’t end up going to bed until really late.

Thursday, I got up and went to Europe in the 20th Century. It was such a relief to finally hand in my paper and get it done. Additionally, at the end of the class we got back our exams. I got a 97, which was great. I’m really determined to get an A in that class. So we’ll see how it goes. So afterwards, I went to lunch and hung out for a bit before I headed back home. Keith was really sad, so Christina and I bought him an ice cream cake from the C-Store. So that was fun. I left around 12:30 – 1:00, and headed back home. I shouoldn’t have hit traffic, since I had planned on going home at a time when it wouldn’t be that bad. But, somehow, once I got into Connecticut, I hit traffic pretty much all the way from Stamford until Milford. So that sucked. Especially since there was really nothing I could do. So, I got home around 5:00. I started laundry right away, since I pretty much had no clean clothes left. I went shopping at the mall and out to dinner with Meg, which was fun. At night, I worked on my Brain and Mind paper, since I didn’t actually have so much of it done, and it was due on Tuesday.

Friday, I slept pretty late. That was nice. During the day, I didn’t really do that much. I went shopping with Meg. I finally found an Easter outfit, which was nice. I really liked it. So, I came home and for t rest of the night worked on my Brain and Mind paper. So that was a relief. When Meg got back from work around 10:00, she and I went out to Applebees for a late night snack. SO that was fun.

Saturday, I slept late again. During the day, I did last minute shopping for stuff to bring back to school At night, I went down to the new restaurant where Pazza Cucina used to be, and I hung out with Daron for a bit. I got there around 9:00, and they were still a little busy. So I sat with Alan White at the bar for a while, and then hung out with Daron. So that was fun. Daron and I made plans with Jeannie to go out to breakfast on Monday, which was nice. So I got home pretty late, so I went to bed right away, since we had to be up earl the next morning.

Easter was a lot of fun. We got up really early, had breakfast and opened Easter baskets, then got ready and went to church. Mass was so nice. Everyone was all dressed up and pretty and it was fun. Afterwards, we went down to lunch at Grandma Alber’s. She had scheduled an Easter Egg Hunt, which was fun, even though we’re a little bit too old for it. Then we had a big Easter dinner, which was fun. WE stayed there for a little bit, and then we went over to Grandma Walsh’s house. There we had another big Easter dinner. We got home around 9:00. I watched a little bit of television, packed a bit, and then went to bed.

Monday morning, I got up early and finished packing and showering. So I went down to the Toyota dealership to get my oil changed. So I dropped the car off there, and then Jeannie drove us down to meet Daron for breakfast. So it was really nice to catch up with the two of them. I had a great time. Afterwards, I drove straight back to St. Joe’s. I hit traffic one place on the Jersey Turnpike, around the merge, which sucked. But all in all, it didn’t take that long to get back to school. When I got back, I stopped at Chili’s to get my hours, and then went to the new apartment to drop off some stuff that I had brought with me for the new apartment. I came back to Merion Gardens, and unpacked, and then hung out upstairs for the rest of the night. We ended up going to Checker’s for dinner, and then I worked on my law brief with Cathy for a bit, and then just spent most of the rest of my time hanging out.

Tuesday, I had classes start again. I handed in my brain and mind paper, and then at night worked on my law paper more with Cathy. We just ordered in dinner and corrected it, and then watched television. Later that night, I really hung out for a bit upstairs, not really doing much. We watched Moulin Rouge, which I really like. So after that, I pretty much sat around and did nothing.

Yesterday was a busy day. I had marketing lcass, where we had a fun guest speaker. Then I had law class, where we got our tests back. I went to lunch after that, and then Western Civ. Then I went to brain and mind class, which was had outside. That was pretty nice, except it was really bright. Oh well. I went to the newspaper office,a nd finished up stuff there, and then came back to Merion Gardens. I got ready for work, and then went to work. It was actually a nice night. I made a good amount of money, especially for a Wednesday, so that was really nice. I didn’t get done until around 11:30, but then Vince called and said I didn’t have to come back, which was nice. SO I came home, finished reading Animal Farm (which I had started earlier that day), and then went to bed.

This morning, I had Europe in the 20th Century. Class was pretty boring. Afterwards, I came to campion, and then the newspaper editors had a luncheon with Father Lannon, the president of the University. So that was nice. It was definitely interesting. We went back to the newspaper office, and hung out there for a while. Then Christina and I came back here, and now we’re just watching television and relaxing.

So … its gonna start being busy again. I have work tonight, again, which I don’t like having two nights in a row. Tomorrow, I have a dinner with the classics department. Saturday, I’m going to a Phillies’ game, which will be exciting. Next week, I’ll prolly have to work twice again, and then afterwards, I have finals coming up. Plus, I have to pack and move sometime soon, since I’d like to do it while my friends can still help me. And finals are gonna suck. I have five finals in the first four day,s which will be super intense. But then it’ll be summer!!

So … it’s really been ages since I’ve updated. I can’t believe how bad I’ve been.

So … what’s been happening?

Um … Julie and I found an apartment, signed the lease, and it’s officially ours now. We paid the first month’s rent and everything. So it’s completely ours, and I’m really excited about it. It’s nice to know we definitely have everything ready for the summer.

I registered for classes, and I really like most of them. Plus, my schedule for next semester looks good. I have Britain in the 20th Century on Monday and Thursdays from 1:00 – 2:15. And Brian is in that class, which is great. I have Dr. Krahmer’s Knowledge and Love of God in the Middle Ages on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 – 11:15. It sounds dull, but I LOVE Dr. Krahmer, and tons of my friends are in that class. So far, Joe, Keith, Dave and Christina are all in that class, which is exciting. I have Classical Mythology with Eric and Brian on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays at 1:00. Then I have Heredity and Evolution on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 2:00 And then on Wednesdays from 3:00 – 5:30, I have a Seminar in American History. So … I’m excited about my classes.

Other than that, I’ve been crazy busy with school work. I had a western civ test on Friday, which I’m kinda nervous about. And then next week is really, really busy. On Wednesday, I have exams in both law and marketing, which is kinda scary. And then on Thursday I have an 18 page paper due, which is also scary. And then, the day we get back from Easter break, I have a fifteen page brain and mind paper and a 10 page law brief. So … yeah.

Lots of work.

Oh well … I’ll try to be better about updating :)

So … I’ve been horrendous about updating as usual. So I guess I’ll just go through the highlights of this week.

Monday, I went to trial with Cathy in Center City. It was a fun time. WE were there for a couple of hours, and we actually got to observe part of a trial for a bank robbery. So it was really interesting. We went out to lunch, and then took the train back to St. Joe’s. We went to get water ice, since it was free water ice day at Rita’s. So we came back here, we typed up our notes for a bit, and then we went and registered for housing next year. We got one of the apartments we wanted, so I’m excited about it. It’s in the other tower in Merion Gardens, which will be a nice change of pace, but the apartment is laid out exactly like our apartments this year. So that was exciting. Cathy and I got back together and finished typing up our notes and then we went out to dinner. We ended up going out to Chili’s, which was fun. Cathy got really excited during dinner when we found out that Bob and Pat were going to be living right next door to them next year. So we came back after Chili’s, and I went upstairs and did homework for most of the rest of the night. Nothing really that exciting, just homework, 24, television, homework. Fun times.

Tuesday I had classes most of the day. After classes, I came back here, and did homework for a bit, and started studying for my massive European History test. I hung out with Cathy and Tony for a bit, and then went upstairs and studied a lot more. Just a studious night, pretty much.

Wednesday was a busy day. I had four classes, and then I went to the newspaper office. I spent most of the time studying, since I was really nervous about my European history test. So I was at the newspaper office until about 8:30, then I got a ride back to Merion Gardens. I read a little bit more and then headed upstairs to watch Lost with Joe and Julie. It was nice to take a break from studying, I’ll be honest. It was a pretty good episode. I came back downstairs until about 10:00 and finished making notecards and studying intensely until about 1:00. I figured it was good to get a good nights sleep, so I wanted to go to bed early.

I set my alarm for 8:00, so I woke up early to do some more studying. The test went pretty good, I think. I was pretty well studied, which was nice. It just took a really long time to write the essays. All in all, it was pretty good. I went to lunch, and then came back to Merion Gardens. I talked on the phone with my mom for a bit,a nd then relaxed for a bit. We had our first softball game, which was exciting. We ended up losing, but we did much better as the game went on. So, I was happy with it. Plus, I ended up getting on base three out of the four times I hit. So that was exciting. Everyone else seemed to feel the same way and wasn’t that intense upset, so that’s great. Afterwards, we came back to Merion Gardens. I had dinner, and then hung out upstairs for a while. We went down and played in the Merion Gardens Ping-Pong tournament . Julie and I won the doubles’ tournament, which was exciting. For the championship game, it was me and Julie against Keith and Eric, so I was excited that we won. So we now get a free t-shirts from the school bookstore. We came back upstairs, and hung around for a bit. Joe came home with his overnight, so we talked with him a bit,a nd then put Old School on. I went to bed around 1:00.

Yesterday, I woke up for my classes. Classes were fine; afterwards, I came back to Merion Gardens and then got ready and went with Julie to look at this apartment we had seen online at craiglist. It ended up being really nice, and we actually filled out forms and applications, because there were other people who were looking at it. So we had to run to the bank and everything and get checks to put down for a security deposit. But they took the apartment off the market which is good. We just have to wait for our parents to fax back forms saying that they’ll co-sign for us. But, since we put down $865 as a security deposit, it’s off the market. So, we just have to wait for the paperwork to go through. So we came back, I played a little video games with Dave, and then Joe, Julie, Christina, Keith and I went out to cosi to celebrate the fact that Julie and I have an apartment. So that was exciting. We got back around 9:30 and we just played board games for a while. Justin and Bob came over, and Eric and Dave played as well, so it was a lot of fun. We played imagine if, which I enjoy. Then Dave and I played some more video games, and then we watched the second American Pie movie. I went to bed around 2:00.

This morning, I slept until around noon. I got up, to see if the bank was open, since I have almost no money left in my account, and I wanted to deposit more. Then I went to Chili’s and got my hours, Monday and Wednesday, which is nice. I came back here, and am watching Friends and writing this.

So … it’s been over a week since I’ve updated. Wow. That’s pretty intense. I usually am much better than that. Anyways, the rest of break was pretty good. Friday night I went out to dinner with Daron and Jeannie. We had a phenomenal time .. we ende dup talking for almost five hours. I had a really great time. Saturday during the day, I went out to lunch and shopping with Meg, and then I was supposed to go out shopping with Katie, but she slept most of the day and was sick. So I talked to her on the phone for like an hour, and then packed and just hung out. I had a good night. So I packed up the car, and then went to bed. I woke up early on Sunday and went out to brunch with Katie and Matthew at the Pantry. It’s a really cute restaurant; I liked it a lot. So We hung out for a bit, and it was really nice to see her, and then I came back here. Kinda a long drive.

This week, I’ve been back at school. Time has been flying by soooo fast. I had a great time. I’ve been doing a lot of work, which is fun, but I’ve been hanging out a lot, which is also a lot of fun. This week has been kinda hectic, but I’ve been having a really good time. So … I guess I’m gonna try to be better about updating.

Friday was St. Patrick’s Day, so everyone was pretty drunk. But it was fun. We had a really great time; I’ll put pictures up on Webshots later on. But, Friday night was fun.

Saturday morning, Eric woke me, Christina, and Keith up, so we talked to him for a bit. So I got up, got ready. Trinica IM’d me, and asked if Christina and I wanted to go out to lunch and shopping with her. So we started getting ready, and then we went to pick Trinica up, and then we went to Applebees. Lunch was good – we had fun bonding times. Afterwards, we went to Ross, which had a lot of really great things. I wish we had Ross back in Connecticut, since I would buy a lot of stuff there. (Ross is basically like Marshalls, but they have a much larger junior’s department, which I enjoy.) Cathy met us there, and we all ended up finding tons of stuff. I ended up buying four new shirts, three pairs of underwear and three bras all for $50. So that’s not that bad at all. So we came back, and Christina, Keith and I watched part of the “Bourne Identity”. I went downstairs and hung out with Cathy for a while, and then we went to Target, where I spent a lot more money. Oh well. I have gotten stuff I needed. So Cathy and I stopped for dinner at Panera, and then came back here. We hung out upstairs for the rest of the night – fun times. I went to bed around 3:00.

This morning, I slept until about noon. I woke up, and then went downstairs and hung out with Cathy for a bit. We went to King of Prussia and walked around for a while, and then had lunch. We came back, and I’ve been hanging up upstairs. I did a little bit of homework, and then I learned to play a new video game. So, that was fun. Katie called me while I was playing the video game, so I didn’t answer the phone (because it was a team game), and she left me a fun phone message . She wants to come visit this week, since she’s on spring break, which would be tons of fun. I enjoy that. So now we’re hanging out, and I have a newspaper meeting later on. That’s it for tonight. Tomorrow I have the housing lottery, where Julie and I pick our rooms. And Cathy and I are going to go downtown to observe a trial for all law course. So, sounds fun.

So I haven’t updated the entire time I’ve been on spring break. Weird, since I assumed I would update more, since I have a lot of free time. But no such luck. Anyways, I’m not really going to go into a lot of what I did over break – I don’t remember exactly what I did each day, anyways, and, for the most part, it wasn’t terribly important. I’ve been doing a lot of shopping since I’ve been home; there’s a lot of stuff I knew I wanted to get while I was at home – things that it was just easier to get at home. Like a lot of basic stuff that I like to buy at WalMart since it’s really cheap – stuff like shampoo, conditioner, tampons. Basic necessities that are much cheaper there than anywhere else. I also bought a bathing suit over break – something I’m really excited about. It usually takes me a really long time to find bathing suits. I don’t usually end up looking for a bathing suit until really late, and then it’s really hard to find a nice one. The only pretty ones aren’t usually in my size, and the ones in my size aren’t really nice. So, I was really happy. I ended up finding one at Target – they have tons of bathing suits, and they’re really pretty cheap. So I was psyched about that. I’ve been hanging out with Meg a lot – we went out to dinner a couple of times, so that was fun. Tonight I went out to dinner with Katie, and it was tons of fun. I hadn’t seen her since I came back for the closing of Pazza Cucina, and I hadn’t talked to her as much at school this semester, since our schedules have been so different, and we’ve both been insanely busy. So it was really, really nice to catch up with her. We went out to dinner at the House of Chao in New Haven. IT was really nice, and I enjoyed the food. When we got there, Jessica was there with her new boyfriend Nolan, so it was really nice to see her. I havne’t seen her in ages!! So we ate dinner, and then we just walked around New Haven for a while. It was really nic e—I had a good time. And then tomorrow we’re going out to dinner with Jeannie and Daron, and then we’ll probably hang out Saturday afternoon again. So I’m excited about that – she’s one of the easiest people in the world for me to talk to. Other than that, I’ve just been relaxing and resting, and having a nice low-key week. I enjoy it – its’ a nice break before I go back to being hectic all the time.

It’s really weird for me to be back this break. It’s been hard to adjust. I mean, I have so much more free time, and it’s weird for me not to be working at all. I really honestly LOVED my job, and it’s really sad that it’s not there anymore – not so much it, but the people. We don’t have a really easy place to gather and hang out, and that’s hard for me to accept and get used to. It’s just weird. It’s so random to drive by there, and have it be nothing. Oh well … life is change, right. It could be way worse, I suppose. It’ll just take some getting used to, I guess.

All in all, I think it’s been a good break. At least I feel it’s been good break. I really needed time to relax, and I’m glad to get the time. Pretty soon, I’ll be back to school, and everything will be busy and hectic again. Oh well … that’s life.

I kinda want to update before I go home for spring break. And, luckily, since tomorrow’s the last day before break, I don’t have as much work to do as I usually do. So many people are going away a day early that most teachers don’t give the exams on Friday. So that’s pretty nice. It sucked earlier in the week when I had tons of work to do, and all that suff, but, as of right now, it’s pretty cool.

Um I think I last updated on Sunday. Well, Sunday afternoon and evening I did some pretty intense homework. I went upstairs and hung out up there for most of the night working, so it was pretty successful. Um … when Christina and Keith got back from Christina’s house I went to meet them over at the Field house, since Keith had an intramural basketball game. However, Keith only had one other teammate show up, so they had to forfeit. But the other team was huge, so they just played for fun anyways. So Christina and I sat there and cheered him on. At 7:00, Christina went to mass, and I went to the newspaper office to do a little bit of my newspaper work while I had the chance. At 8:00 we had our newspaper meeting, and then me, Christina, Justin and Dave came back to Merion Gardens. So I went upstairs, and continued my homework up there for the rest of the night. I spent most of the time studying for my law test.

On Monday, I had class at 10:00. So I went to marketing class, and then went and took my law test. It went pretty well, so I was pretty excited. Then I went to lunch, which was fun, then I came back to the apartment and did some work. I didn’t have to work, so it was pretty nice. So I did some work, and watched some television, and Christina and I just laid around for most of the time. Um … when Christina got back from work, we made dinner with Keith. So that was pretty fun. So we had dinner, and then I went upstairs and hung out there for most of the night. Actually accomplished some studying, so I was pretty proud of myself. So I went to bed around 1:00.

Tuesday was actually a pretty good day. Good, but busy. So I had European history first thing in the morning. Boring, as usual. I had free period, where I had lunch and then did some newspaper stuff. Afterwards, I went to western civ and then Brian and Mind Classes. Both kinda boring, I have to say. Afterwards, I stopped by the newspaper office and finished up most of my work, and then I came back to the apartment. I got ready for work, and then went to Chili’s. Tuesday was actually a pretty nice night. I was pretty busy, and I actually made good money. So I was pretty glad. Trinica came in, which was exciting. And then I saw Ellen and Joe Hollywood, so it was pretty cool. I got back around 10:00, and I did some more studying.

Wednesday, I had my marketing test first thing in the morning. So I was kinda nervious about that, but I think it went well. I’m still not sure, since we havne’t gotten our tests back yet. After marketing, I went to law class, where we did get our midterms back. I got an A, so I was pretty psyched. After law class, I went to lunch, and then went to western civ and brain and mind. After brain and Mind, I did some intense errand type things. I got all my forms signed to declare major and minor and then dropped them off at the registrar. I went to the bookstore to get the stuff to put my marketing project together. TheN I walked back to Merion Gardens and got all the stuff I needed to do my marketing gproject, and then drove back to campus. I ended up sitting in the newspaper office most of the afternoon and night, just doing work, and working on newspaper stuff. I left to come back around 8:30. So I sat around for a while, and then watched Lost. After Lost, I talked to Meg for a while, and then went upstairs to watch Lady and the Tramp. It had just come out on DVD, so Dave had just bought it. So I was pretty psyched to see it. I hadn’t seen it in ages, since I didn’t really like it as a child. Last night, I went to bed around 2:00.

This morning, I woke up for my 10:00 class. Again, Europe in the 20th Century class was pretty boring. Oh well. After class, I came to the cafeteria and had lunch. Christina and I took the shuttle back, and then I packed and cleaned for a bit. Then I watched some television, dropped Christina off at baby-sitting, and then picked up newspapers to bring back to Merion Gardens. So now I’m sitting here and watching television.

So … busy week. So, Tuesday night, I hung out upstairs for most of the night. Attempted to do homework, but didn’t really accomplish much. Oh well. It wasn’t like I had THAT much homework to do. Wednesday was a busy day, as usual; marketing, law, lunch, western civ, brain and mind, newspaper office, chili’s, and then newspaper office until late. So … it wasn’t that great, I have to say. But … I got it out of the way, which was nice. Thursday was my low key day. So I just had Europe in the 20th Century in the morning, and then I cam eback here. I laid around and watched television with Christina and then played some games online. Relaxing, which was nice. I did soe homework, and then went out to dinner with Cathy and Trinica. Afterwards, I went to Project Mexico auction and hung out there for a while. I came back and did some more homework.

Friday, I had a lot of classes. So I went to Marketing, and Law, and then had lunch. After lunch, I went to western civ and took a really short test. So hopefully that went well. Then I went to Brain and Mind. After Brain and Mind, I came back to campus, and then got the shuttle with Pat. When I got back to Merion Gardens, I spent most of the afternoon working on Joe’s birthday present. TheN I just hung around for a bit with Christina and Keith, watching television. Then, when Julie called, we all got together and went to the bowling alley to surprise Joe. So, that was fun. He was surprised which was nice. I had a really fun time. So, we came back here, and hung out for a bit upstairs. I spent some more time trying to get my dvd burner to work. Sadly, I still don’t think it’s working, which is frustrating me. So I’m gonna work on that some when I get home for spring break. (By the way, my spring break is next week, if anyone else has the same spring break). I went to bed rather early, around 2:00, since I was exhausted.

Yesterday, Saturday, I slept pretty late. It was nice to get a solid night’s sleep. I went out to lunch with Will, Christina and Justin to Steph’s restaurant. We came back to the apartment, and I was still exhausted. I mean, I had gotten tons of sleep, but I was still tired. So Christina and I laid around for most of the afternoon and just watched television. Around 8:00, we decided to go to Target with Cathy. However, when we were at Target the power went out. It was soooo creepy. But I had found two really great shirts that I liked, so I bought them. Fun. We went to ‘til 2, where I hung out for a while with Cathy, Christina and Keith. We played a giant game of Scrabble, which was fun. Then, at midnight ,we went to see Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, which was actually much better than I had thought it was gonna be. We got back around 2:00, hung around upstairs for a little bit, then went to bed.

I slept pretty late again, and then I went out to lunch at Chili’s with Cathy. Fun. I just got back, and now I’m upstairs, about to start homework. Not fun times.

So, after I updated on Sunday night, I went upstairs and hung out for a bit. We just laid around and watched some television – nothing all that exciting. But we just hung around and watched some television. I went to bed around 1:00.

Yesterday, another week began. I woke up for my 10:00 class and headed to campus with Cathy and Bob. My 10:00 marketing class was fine, if not somewhat boring. I had law class afterwards, which was nice, in the fact that he cancelled class tomorrow and he pushed our test back to next week. So, I kinda found that exciting. I had lunch afterwards, which was fun. After lunch, I called my mom and talked to her for a while, while I walked back to Merion Gardens. It was a fairly nice day, so it wasn’t that bad. After I talked to my mom, I did a little bit of homework, and then hung around with Christina, Keith and Eric and watched some Lost. I had work at 4:15, so I went to work. Work went fairly well; I made somewhat good money, and I was kinda busy, all of which was nice. After work, I drove Jeremy and Christina home, and then headed back here. But, of course, all the parking spaces in Merion Gardens were full, so it was just a huge hassle. I just don’t understand how they keep filling up. I really don’t. Whenever I come back late, it’s all filled up. They shouldn’t give out more parking permits than they have spots. Just a theory. So I drove around, and couldn’t find one, so I had to drive to main campus, walk to security office, wait around while the security office filled out a parking permit, walk back to my car, wait in Sourin for a security shuttle, then wait to get back to Merion Gardens. It made a five minute drive home from work take thirty-five minutes. So I was really frustrated. I came back here, and did some homework, showered and went to bed.

This morning, I woke up for my 10:00 class. Class was fairly good, then I went to lunch, and then western civ. I hung out in the newspaper office and just did all the advertising stuff I had to do. After that, I came back here, did some more homework, and then went to cvs. Now I’m just watching some television and doing more homework.

So, the rest of Thursday, I didn’t really do all that much interesting. I did some homework in the afternoon. I hung around for a bit, actually accomplished some homework, and then hung around for a bit some more, just watching some television. I ended up going out to a late dinner with Cathy, which was pretty nice. We went to Applebee’s and just got an appetizer and talked. It was a lot of fun. I had a good time. We talked about me staying here over the summer and where Cathy is going to live next year, and just fun girl bonding kind of stuff. I had a good time. When I got back, I headed over to Pat’s and then we studied for like an hour and a half the Brain and Mind stuff. Then I studied some more by myself, which was productive, if not interesting.

Friday morning, I was kinda busy. I had marketing class, which was kinda boring, and then I had law class, where we just took a lot of notes. Then I went to lunch, which was fun. After lunch, I headed to Western Civ. Kinda boring, but it provided me with an opportunity to study for Brain and Mind. Then I went and took my brain and mind test. Different than I expected. I feel I either did really well on it or did horribly. So … we’ll see how that turns out. Afterwards, I went to the newspaper office quickly and then we all headed back to Merion Gardens. In the afternoon, when we got back, Christina and I cleaned the apartment. It hadn’t been cleaned, I think, since we got back to school. So we cleaned most of the afternoon. Which was successful, I have to say. Katie (Christina’s sister) came around 6:00. So we sat around and talked for a bit, and then we made dinner, and then we went upstairs to hang out. So we hung out up there for a while, watched some television, and just talked. Around 9:30, Keith drove us over to ‘til 2, since they had free Stuff-a-Plush. But we had just missed it, which was sad. So we watched a little bit of SJU “The Dating Game”. So, that was interesting. But around 10:30, Keith drove us over to Larry’s. So we ordered some food, and then talked for a while while we ate it. After that, we headed back to ‘til 2, and, at midnight, we headed to see Rent. I LOVE that movie. Bob and Justin ended up coming with us to see it, which was fun. S owe got back here around 2:30, and we went upstairs to see the guys. Joe was passed out on the love sac; Dave and Mike were getting ready for bed, and Eric was wandering around drunk. So we talked with Dave and Mike for a bit, then came downstairs. We got ready for bed, and went to bed around 3:20. Around 3:45, Will came over, sobbing and crying since Steph had broken up with him AGAIN. So we sat and listened to him for an hour and half, and then he left, and we went back to bed.

I slept until about 11:30 the next morning. Then, Christina, Keith, Eric and I had breakfast, since christina’s mom had brought muffins and cinnamon rolls when she came to pick Katie up that morning. So we sat around and talked for a while. Then Christina, Keith and Eric left, to head to Eric’s house right outside Harrisburg. So I hung around for a bit, and actually did some homework. Afterwards, I ran to the library and got some of the books that I needed for my history term paper. Immediately afterwards, I headed to Michaels’, and got some craft supplies. So I came back here, started doing some crafts. Around 7:00, Cathy picked me up, and then wedrove back to her house to pick up her friend Karin. So we picked Karin up, and then drove back around here. We ended up going out to dinner at the Olive Garden. We had to wait for quite a while. It was pretty nice, I have to say. We didn’t end up eating until after 9:00, but it was pretty nice. So, we got back around 10;30, hung out for a bit, and then headed back to campion. Cathy desperately wanted t osee Rent, so Justin and I went with her again. So I came back here around 2:30 again, and went to bed, because I was still exhausted, since I hadn’t gotten as much sleep as I would have liked.

Today, I woke up around noon. I laid around in bed for a bit, and then ran to CVS. So I got back here, hung out for a bit and did some more homework. After that, I went to Kohl’s, the bank, Five Below, Saladworks, then the grocery store with Cathy and Karin. Lots of random errands. I came back here around 5:00, and went upstairs to hang around with Julie for a couple of hours. Then I went to the newspaper office, and now I’m back here. I have a little bit of more homework to do, and then I’ll probably go hang out. So that’ll be fun.

Now for the real update about my last couple of days. Monday night, I went to work. Since it was still pretty snowy out and the roads weren’t completely clear, we were pretty much the least busy I’ve ever seen it at Chili’s. So I studied some for my Brain and Mind test, and then I was cut pretty early. I really didn’t make a lot of money, but I didn’t really care. I just really kinda wanted to get out of there, since I knew I wasn’t going to be making any more money if I ended up staying later. Corrine, one of the girls I worked with, really wanted more shifts, so she volunteered to take my Wednesday shift for me. So, since Wednesdays are usually hell, I agreed. So that was nice. I left work fairly early, drove Jeremy home, and then came back here. I hung out for a bit, then came back here and watched some television. I hung out up there for a bit, which was fun. I actually got some work done, which was good news.

Tuesday was also a pretty good day. In the morning, I got up for my Europe in the 20th century class. Not very interesting, but I managed to take a lot of notes. Dr. Marzik kind of grows on you as time goes on. Then I had free period, where I hung out with everyone at lunch. Afterwards, I went to my Western Civilization class, which was somewhat interesting. Afterwards, I had Brain and Mind class, where it turned out that everyone else was also having a really hard time understanding the material. So we ended up convincing him to push the test back to Friday. I’m still really concerned about it, though. I hope it goes okay. After class, I went to the newspaper office and hung out there for a couple of hours. I did most of my work figuring out what I’m doing with my ads for this week. But I finished it then, which was a relief. So I drove back to Merion Gardens with Cathy, and hung out around my apartment and started working on a study guide for brain and Mind. I went downstairs around 7:00 and hung out with Cathy. We ordered pizza, and watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune with Bob and Brian. Afterwards, once the food came, Cathy, Brian and I ended up watching the new Gilmore Girls episode. Good episode, I have to say. I came upstairs, got my computer, and then headed up stairs. However, when I plugged it in upstairs, it stopped working. The screen was just completely black, and thn when I restarted it, there were strange grey lines moving around the screen, with occasional bursts of bright green and pink. So I started freaking out, since I have a whole lot of stuff saved on this computer, which I’m really afraid of losing. But marissa suggested that I call IT, so I called them and they told me to bring the computer down. I guess they’re open to like 11:00, which is actually fairly late. So I brought it down, and they guessed that I had a broken video card, which sucked. SO I left it with them, and they gave me a loaner laptop, and I came back to Merion Gardens. I spent most of the rest of the night redoing the study guide for Brain and Mind which I had done earlier and was not stuck on my computer. But I watched the rest of Season 1 of Lost with Joe and Julie, which was fun. I ended up going to bed around 2:30, which hwa spretty late.

However, my 11:00 class was cancelled yesterday, so I ended up skipping my 10:00 class. So I slept late, and then I headed to campus for lunch and to hang out with everyone in the newspaper office. Afterwards, I went to Brain and Mind class where we reviewed for the exam again. So I’m feeling a little bit better about that. Immediately after class, I headed to the history office to attempt to get my formed signed by Dr. Lewin. So I talked to her for a second, but she was just leaving her office to go to class. So I headed to the newspaper office where I hung out for four or five hours. I mainly just did homework and hung out with Dave, since he didn’t have most of his articles to work on his section. So that was fun. I left around 6:30 and headed home. I did soe more homework here, and then watched Lost, which I thought was a fantastic episode, and then headed back over to the newspaper office, where I hung out until just before 1:00. I came back here, and then Christina, Keith and I got ready for bed. We ended up lying around for like an hour and a half just talking, which was fun.

Today, when I woke up for my 10:00 class, I was, quite truthfully, pretty tired. I mean, I didn’t get huge amounts of sleep last night. But that’s okay. I’m still awake :) So I went to my Europe in the 20th Century class, which was just as usual, and then went to lunch, which was lots of fun. After lunch, Joe, Christina and I drove back, and now I’m hanging out here. I have to go meet with Dr. Marzik sometime after 4:00 to discuss my term paper topics, but other than that, I don’t know what I’m going to do tonight. I guess we’ll see.

So, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking recently, and I think I’ve just made a pretty big decision about my life. I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently and talking about it with a lot of people, and I’m pretty sure that I’m not going to go home this summer. I think I may stay in Philadelphia for the summer. All in all, that would be a pretty big change, because it completely alters the way I think about Connecticut. Because … I always think of the summer as going “home”, but if I stay here, will Connecticut really be “home” anymore? I know that’s kind of a big leap to take, but I have been thinking a lot, and I guess it kind of scares me that home might not be home anymore.

I guess a lot of things have been contributing to this decision. For a long time, I’ve been thinking a lot about staying here; I guess that’s part of growing up. But, in truth, I’ve been really reluctant to think about that. Because, I’m not really a huge fan of change, and this would really represent a change. Most of my friends are staying here or live around here, and, in many ways, they’ve become my family. I’m completely comfortable with all of them, and I just want to spend as much time with them as possible. When I’m home, I miss them and the way things are when we’re at school. And, I guess, I want to stay as near that as possible.

I’m not really sure how that’s going to work. I never really had given it much thought before. Before Pazza Cucina closed, I knew I was coming back. Even though I wasn’t making TONS of money, I was making relatively a lot of money for very little actual work. I had an amazing time when I was at work, and I didn’t want to give that up. But … now that Pazza Cucina is closed, I don’t know what to do. I mean, part of the reason I had so much fun is that I spent so much time with people I’m close with. It just won’t be the same anymore. I won’t be able to spend all my free time hanging out with Chris, Katie, and Jay because everything’s different. We all have different schedules and we have conflicting things in our ways. We’re going to be working different places and have crazy schedules, and that makes me nervous. Because I usually am really bored and lonely at home.

So, I’ve been thinking recently, that I might just stay here and work here over the summer ot make money. Julie’s definitely staying here, and we could sublet an apartment together over the summer. And both Joe and Julie want to work at Chilli’s over the summer, so it’d be fun to work together. It would make work more enjoyable. I also think that I’m going to try to get another job, so I’m not always working at the same job. Plus, I think I would just enjoy having people around all the time, the thing that I miss most when I’m at home.

However, I do think that I’m still going to be coming home at least some of the time. I want to spend some time at home and at least see all my friends from Sacred Heart and Katie, Chris, Jay and Jeannie. Plus, I’m going on vacation with my family over the summer. And, I still want to go to Vermont with my friends from high school, so I’ll definitely want to be home for that. Plus, I have a really good time when I’m at home over the summer hanging out with my sister. So, as of right now, I think the plan is to live here most of the time, although spend time at home additionally, but make this my primary place to stay over the summer.

I feel this is a really big decision that I’m making. And I’ve been thinking about it a lot. I’m still not completely sure, but this is definitely the direction I’m leaning in right now. And it kind of scares me, because I really didn’t see this coming. I always just kinda assumed that I’d go home all summer every summer. And now I’m really thinking about staying here. About changing my life.

So … anyone who reads this, do you have any advice or comments? Because, I could really use advice from everyone, and I kinda want to know what everyone thinks. :)

So … it was a fun weekend, I have to say. It was actually really fun, although nothing exceedingly interesting or out of the ordinary happened. So, we stayed up pretty late on Friday night watching Lost. But after all the stress of the weekend, it was nice to just unwind, relax and hang out. Saturday morning, I slept until about noon. I woke up, and I talked to Will, and he invited me again to go with him to visit Steph at work. I was kinda afraid it would be just us, which would have sucked. Not because I don’t like Will or spending time with him, but Steph is psychotically jealous and even Will will admit that they always get into fights when he hangs out with another girl if it’s just the two of them. Which, for the record, is both ridiculous and exceedingly annoying. To be honest, I don’t care what Steph thinks; she’s not my friend and I don’t think she has any desire to be my friend. But I don’t really want to get in an argument or have it turn into a big deal. But, luckily, Justin decided to come, too, so that made it all fine. Lunch was pretty good. The food at the restaurant where Steph works is pretty good; I enjoy it immensely. So, I really had a good time. And it was nice to hang out with Justin and Will. So I had a good time. As soon as I got back, I got my computer and headed upstairs. So we watched some television, and did nothing much. I actually accomplished some homework, which was a feat. Then, at night, we had the Collegiate Challenge Habitat-for-Humanity dance-a-thon. It was snowing massively hard, but a lot of our friends are involved in it, so we all went. I ended up having a fun time; much better than I thought I would. But we didn’t really dance, which could contribute it. Keith ended up driving, since his car, although it is pretty little, does have four wheel drive. So we stopped at Wendy’s on the way, since we were hungry, and then we headed to ‘til 2. But, as I said, I had a good time. And Keith, Christina and I won a raffle together, which was exciting. We had gotten a raffle ticket and we decided to share it, and we ended up winning a $50 gift certificate to Suburban Square shopping center. So, that was exciting. Apparently, there’s a ‘50s style diner there, so we want to go to that. So I’m excited about that. So, we came back, and since it was still snowing massively hard, we decided to go outside and play football. So we (me, Christina, Julie, Cathy, Keith, Eric, Mike, Dave, and Joe) got all bundled up and then headed outside for a fun game of tackle football. It was actually a lot of fun. We all fell down a lot, and I had a really great time. It’s like how much fun playing in the snow was when you’re little. It was just a really, really fun time. And, since by the time we got outside it was like 1:30 in the morning, no one else was really around outside, so we had so much space to ourselves. So that was fun. We got back inside, I showered, and we watched some television before going to bed.

Sunday, yesterday, I slept until about noon. I woke up, did some homework, did all the dishes that were piling up in the apartment. I did some laundry, since I wanted to have a clean shirt for work. I went upstairs and actually accomplished some homework. Joe, Julie and I watched some Lost, and then we hung out with everyone else. So, for most of the day ,we just had a really lazy day and laid around the apartment, did some homework, and were mostly thankful we didn’t have to go out in the snow. However, the newspaper meeting was cancelled, even though EVERY other meeting on campus was cancelled. So I drove over there, and then we had the meeting. Not entirely productive, to be honest. We got back around 9:00, and we watched Family Guy and American Dad, while I wrote a couple of emails to people I havne’t talked to in a while. Then we were flipping through the channels and we came across Coupling on television. So, we watched that, and then we were in the mood so we watched some more episodes. I went to bed around 1:00.

This morning, I wsa really hoping for delayed or cancelled classes, but I had no such luck. Oh well. So, I went to marketing class, law, class, then lunch. I came back, talked to my mom on the phone for a while, and now I’m updating this before work. I’m gonna clean a little bit, and then hopefully figure out how to get my dvd burner work.

So, my Wendesday was busy as usual. Not much has changed; Wednesdays will be insanely busy from now on. I had marketing class, where we just reviewed for our test we had this morning, then law class where we did almost nothing as usual. Afterwards, I went to lunch, which was fun as usual. I had Western Civ class and then brain and mind. Afterwards, I went to the newspaper office and did some work, then went with Pat to meet the shuttle. So we took the shuttle back to Merion Gardens. I got ready for work, and then talked for a bit with Christina and Keith. I went to work, which was pretty good. It was kinda busy for a while, but I had pretty good tables, which was nice. All in all, it was good. I left work around 10:30, stopped at Taco Bell, and then went to the Hawk office. There wasn’t that much to do; I just copyedited for a little bit and then laid around for a while. I took a little nap again, I think; I just ended up lying in the couch for a while. I was waiting for Dave to finish up, so I could go home. But Kevin volunteered to do the last copyedit, which was nice of him. So I came back around 1:30 and went straight to bed, exhausted.

Thursday was a great low-key day after the intensity of Wednesday. I had my European history class in the morning, which was very interesting. I’m actually beginning to enjoy that class a lot. So that was good. I went to lunch afterwards, and then took the shuttle back to Merion Gardens with Pat. I did some dishes, got our sink fixed, cleaned a bit, and straightened my hair. Then I just sat around and watched a lot of television. I did a little bit of homework, too, which was nice. I had talked to Trinica in the afternoon, and she wanted to go out to dinner. So I called Cathy and asked her and then asked Christina and Julie. So it ended up being a really nice girls night out, which was enjoyable. We invited Keith and Dave, but theyfigured it was a girls thing, so they didn’t come. Christina, Julie and I talked about it, and it’s so strange, since it’s usually the three of us and a massive amount of guys. But as soon as the guys are outnumbered, they usually figure that they’re interrupting a girls’ thing and back out. It’s really funny. But dinner was actually really nice; I had a great time. When we got back, Julie, Christina and I had a girly crafts night. We brought out all our crafts supplies in our apartment, and Julie and I worked on our scrapbooks and Christina worked on her R.A. project. Keith and Eric came down, and we watched another disc of “Lost”. So, we finished around 1:00. I got ready for bed and went to sleep.

This morning, I woke up at 9:15. I went to campus and had my marketing class. I had an exam, but I think it went really well. I got out of class early, so I read some of my book for Western Civ. Law class was also interesting, and we got out early again. So I went to Campion and had lunch with Christina, Keith and Joe. Keith and Christina went to class, and then everyone else came for lunch. After lunch, I went to Western Civ class and then brain and mind. Pat and I met Cathy at her car, and then we headed back to campus. We dropped Pat off and Cathy and I went to Target. I got a whole bunch of stuff I needed. We came back, I worked a little more on crafts, and then had dinner with Keith, Chrisitna and Eric. After dinner, we came upstairs and hung out for a bit, and now we’re watching more “Lost.” What can I say? We’re obsessed.

So, Saturday night was a ridiculously low key night. We did basically NOTHING and it was amazing. We watched a couple of movies, played some video games and that was the entire night. It was pretty much amazing, I have to say. I ended up going to bed around 2:30, and I slept until around 12:30 the next day. So that was pretty nice, I have to say.

Sunday, during the day, I didn’t do that much. I did some homework, since I knew I was going to be watching the Superbowl at night, and I knew I wouldn’t accomplish that much. So that’s what I spent most of the day doing. Around 5:00 I came upstairs, and hung out there for the rest of the night . We watched some of the deleted scenes from Wedding Crashers, which we had watched the night before. We ended up actually just re-watching parts of that movie. But it’s hilarious, so it’s all cool. Afterwards, we made tons of snacks and then watched the Superbowl. There were a ton of us there, so it was lots of fun. I had a good time. I didn’t really have strong feelings about either team, so it was fun. The only ones who really cared were Sarah and Mike, who were both Steelers fans (Sarah’s from Pittsburg), so they were pretty intense. All in all, it was a fun time. After the Superbowl, we watched Grey’s Anatomy, because there was a really intense commercial beforehands which said that there was a “code black” and we were really curious as to what the code black means. Apparently, in case you’re wondering, it means that there’s a bomb inside of a person. But it was a cliffhanger, which was interesting. So afterwards, most people still ahd homework, but it was only 11:00, so we started watching Lost. Meg had gotten me hooked on it when I was home over Christmas, and I came back and I was talking about it. So we had decided we were all going to watch it. So we started watching Lost. We made it through both pilot episodes, which was interesting. So, I’m glad everyone’s interested about it, since it’s really a great television show. So we finished around 1:30, and then I came downstairs and went to bed.

Yesterday, I woke up for my 10:00 class. Cathy drove to school, and then I had marketing. Marketing was actually interesting, because we spent a good portion of the class talking about the Superbowl commercials. All in all, it was agreed, as I also think, that the three best commercials during the Superbowl were the Bud Light one about the “magic fridge” and the revolving door, and the two Ameritrust (I think) that’s like don’t judge too quickly and we wont’ judge you too quickly. They were both hilarious – the one with the doctor and the fly and the one with the two people on the airplane. All in all, it was really interesting. Afterwards, I went to Law class, which was boring, and then lunch. I didn’t have lunch though, since I was gonna have something to eat with Cathy later. So I met up with Cathy, and we ate, and then I came back to Merion Gardens and relaxed for a bit. I watched some television and rested. Then I had work, which was somewhat unfortunate. I didn’t really make that much money, which was kinda sad, I”ll be honest. But, I got home around 10:00, and got changed, and then came upstairs and watched two more episodes of Lost with everyone. I went to bed around 1;00 again.

This morning, I woke up again for my 10:00 class. So I got ready, and then Christina and I went to meet the shuttle. But no one else was there, so we skipped the first shuttle and waited for everyone else to take the second shuttle. So we got to school. My European history class was somewhat boring, but all in all, not that bad. Afterwards, I went to lunch, which was fun, and then western civ and brain and mind. I went to the newspaper office for a bit and did some of my work, and then came back here. I hung out for a bit, did a little bit of homework, and had dinner with Cathy and GInene. Then I watched some Gilmore Girls, and we just finished watching the St. Joe’s /Villanova game. We lost, unfortunately. Now, I’m hanging out here. I think we’ll watch some Lost later on, and then tomorrow will be insane. I have four classes, then more newspaper stuff, and then work, and then I’m at newspaper for the rest of the night. So … yeah.

So, Thursday afternoon I was wildly productive, I have to say. Though I started off kind of lazy and came home and lounged around with Christina for a while, I ended up driving to campus around 3:30, and just being productive. I went to the newspaper office and did everything I had to do there for billing. I figured out all of the bills and printed them out, and then put the newspapers in the envelopes I addressed. So I felt good about that. Then I headed over to Mandeville and got the dean of the Haub School of Business to sign my forms so that I can be a history major and a business minor. Then I headed over to Barbelin to see Dr. Marzik, since he had asked me to come by a while ago and talk about the newspaper. So I came over and talked with him for a while, which was interesting. Then I headed over to the library and got some books I needed for my Western Civ class. Finally, I went over to Claver and met Trinica, and then we went and picked up Cathy. So the three of us bonded over dinner, which was nice. I haven’t really talked to Trinica in ages. It’s ridiculous. It turns out she has a real job now, which I didn’t know about. I really feel like we haven’t talked in a really long time. So, we came back here after that, and I did the last bit of homework I had, and then I came upstairs for the rest of the night. We ended up just hanging around for the rest of the night. I had brought books upstairs to do homework, but didn’t actually end up doing much homework. So that was a fun night. I ended up going to bed around midnight, since I felt the cold I had coming back and wanted to sleep it off completely.

Friday during the day wasn’t that much out of the ordinary. I had law class, which was actually interesting. We started talking about Constitutional law, which is pretty much a reiteration of A.P. Government class. But Dr. McDevitt gave us several interesting cases to think about, which I think about. Then I went to lunch, where we talked a little bit about The Hawk and basically just had a fun time. After lunch, I went to Western Civ class, which actually passed faster than usual, which surprised me. And then I went to Brain and Mind class. Dr. Moody was fifteen minutes late, and we were just about to leave when we saw him coming. So that was somewhat disappointing, I’ll be honest. After class, I took the shuttle back to Merion Gardens. I ended up talking the whole way back with this guy Mark in my Brain and Mind class, which was interesting. Since it’s always nice to meet new people, and usually, and Fridays it’s a boring ride, since Pat has lab. So, when I got back, I met Christina and we headed to Michael’s. Christina wanted to get things for her R.A. creative project and to make some sort of cute Valentine’s Day present for Keith. So we got stuff for her, and I just got some fun crafts stuff, which was interesting. Then we came back here, and Christina went to get ready for her date with Keith, and I went downstairs to hang out with Cathy for a bit. So, Cathy and I talked for a bit, and then we left. Cathy, Ginene and I went to the ATM, so Cathy could get money, and then we dropped Cathy off at the new building to meet her friend Marie and Ginene and I ended up going to Friday’s to have dinner. So it was nice to hang out with Ginene; I hadn’t actually hung out with her for a while. She talked a lot about Phil, I do have to admit, though. But we saw Will there with Steph, which was kinda neat.

So … yesterday was an awesome night, I have to say. I was a little bit skeptical at first, but it ended up being an amazingly fun night. So, when I got back, Christina was hanging out around our apartment. So we both got changed, and then we went over to B-tower to hang out with Pat. So we watched some “Pete and Pete” that Pat has on DVD with Pat, Jenny, Bob and Justin. Lots of fun. I had never seen that show before, but I could tell that if I had seen it in my childhood, I would have thought it was the most awesome show to ever exist. So we watched a couple of episodes, and then we came over to the guys apartment in the a-tower. There ended up being a huge party here, and it was tons of fun. They had been planning since Thursday night to play a huge game of Battleship since Joe Riculli and Steve Elwell were the R.A.s on duty (In fact, Joe and Steve suggested the game). So during the day, Eric and Mike had headed to buy beer, and then they called Steve when they got back to come down to the garage and let them in the R.A. entrance, so they wouldn’t have to try to get beer past security. But there was some thing wrong, and Mike had left his keys, so Eric ended up driving around the parking lot with Steve for a while. Apparently, when Eric and Steve were driving around the apartment, the area coordinator, Jason, drove up behind them, and called Steve and asked him what he was doing in the parking lot while he was on duty. So, we were a little concerned about him. But apparently, Steve talked to Jason for a while and managed to convince him that Eric had wanted to confide in him and was afraid of other people finding out so they had to go to the car. Unfortunately, Steve told Jason that Eric wanted to confide that he was gay, rather than merely saying that Eric was having roommate troubles or something of that nature. So now the area coordinator thinks Eric is gay, which is hilarious. So we didn’t start playing Battleship until around 12:30, since Steve and Joe weren’t able to get away before then to go and get the beer from Mike’s car. Plus, there was a little bit of an issue with the vodka. Joe Riculli had a bottle of Absolut, but it wasn’t enough vodka, so they ended up taking half of the bottle Christina and I had. So the party was huge, which was nice. Joe and Steve, the two R.A.s on duty were both there, and playing battleship, so no one was really stressed or worried at all about getting in trouble. Plus, there were two other R.A.s there drinking, and a whole bunch of other people who live in the building. And two of the guys neighbors, who we hadn’t really met before, came over and hung out all night, which was awesome. They’re both really great girls, and I hope we get to spend more time hanging out with them. So, all in all, it was a really fun night. Battleship ended around 2:00, and we just hung out the rest of the night talking and having a fun time. There was no drama or anything of that nature, and it was just a really fun night, I have to say. So I was pretty happy about that.

So I didn’t end up going to bed until around 4:30-5:00. So I slept until about 12:30, and then Christina, Keith and I got up and came upstairs. Eric had wanted to watch Apocalypse Now, which I had never seen, and he had kept telling us the night before that he was going to start it at 1:00, and we had better be there if we wanted to see it. So we came upstairs, and no one was up, so we went and woke up Eric. So we started Apocalypse Now, and then Joe and Julie got up. So Joe and Julie ended up making everyone breakfast, which was a lot of fun, so we sat around and had breakfast for a while. Then we finshed the movie (all three and a half hours of it), and now we’re just hanging around. The guys are having a holy war right now, and I’m typing this, and Julie’s showering and Christina’s on the phone. So I don’t really know what we’re doing tonight, but I’m thinking it’s going to be a really low-key chill night, which will be fun.

I really am getting at least a little bit better about updating more frequently. And I probably just jinxed it by saying that, but … hey. I always jinx things. Oh well.

Tuesday night, I made dinner with Cathy. We ended up making perogies and we ate them while watching television. Afterwards, I did a little bit of homework and then watched the new episode of Gilmore Girls. I thought it was cute. I love that show so much, and I wish that I had seen all of this season. I mean, I have all other seasons on DVD, so I can watch them any time I want, but I wish that I been watching season six all along. So, after Gilmore Girls I did a little more homework, and then, just as I was about to go upstairs, Justin came over. Apparently he was locked out his apartment, so he and I sat around for a while and talked and watched Sex and the City. So that was fun. I love Justin so much, and ti was fun just to hang out. Afterwards, he went back to his apartment to do some homework, and I went upstairs. I hung out with Dave for a while, and then Julie came in, since Joe, Mike, Keith and Eric were having a “holy war.” So the three of us talked for a while, and then afterwards Christina, Keith and Joe came in. So the six of us hung out for a couple of hours, not really doing much. I came downstairs around 12:30 with Christina and Keith and we went to bed. The three of us ended up sitting around for a while talking, which was fun.

Wednesday, yesterday, I woke up around 9:15 for my 10:00 class. I got ready, and then met Cathy and Bob and we drove to campus. I had marketing class first thing in the morning, which wasn’t that bad. And then I went to law class, which also was somewhat interesting. More so than usual. Afterwards, I went to lunch, which was a fun time. I had western civilization afterwards and then brain and mind. After that, Pat and I had an interesting discussion and then headed over to the newspaper office. I sat around for a while attempting to figure out the billing stuff I wanted to do today. I got a shuttle with Brian back to Merion Gardens and then got ready for work. It took me forever to drive into work; traffic was soooo exceptionally bad. But … work was pretty good. I was busier than I expected, and most of my tables were actually pretty good. Plus, Cathy and Ginene came to visit me at work, which was exciting. I was pretty excited about that. And, I made $95 after tip-out, which is pretty phenomenal for a Wednesday night. Afterwards, I stopped bY Merion Gardens to get the camera cord for my camera and then drove to newspaper office.e I was there until a little after 1:00, which was a little later than I wanted to stay. But I was gonna leave at like 12:30, but Dave asked me to wait so I did, and then Justin asked us to wait. So, I think I actually fell asleep on the couch for a bit. So we drove back, and then I went right to sleep.

Today, I woke up at 9:00 in the morning. I got dressed and then Christina, Eric and I caught the shuttle. I had my European history class this morning. It was kinda boring, to be honest. Then I headed to lunch, where Christina, Pat and I had a very interesting and somewhat hysterical conversation. So … that was fun. Everyone else came to lunch, and, all in all, it was a lot of fun. Now I’m back here, and I’m typing this while I watch Boy Meets World. Fun show.

So … yesterday another week of classes began. I had set my alarm for 9:00, so I got up, got ready, and took the shuttle to campus. I wasn’t sure if Cathy was gonna drive, so I figured it’d be better to take the shuttle and make sure I got to campus on time. But she called me right as I got to campus, and I guess she was driving, but it doesn’t really matter. So … I went to Marketing class, which was fairly interesting, and law class, which, surprisingly, was also fairly interesting. After class, I went to Campion and had some lunch. I ended up getting a chicken wrap, but I waited in line with Joe, so it was nice to have someone to talk to. So … that was fun. Lunch as a whole was enjoyable. I had a fun time. After lunch, I didn’t have any classes, so I met up with Cathy. We drove back here, and then we hung out in her apartment for a while. So … that was fun. We talked for a while, and then I came upstairs and did a little bit of homework while I watched some television. I then went to University Press and got the course packet that I needed for my Europe in the 20th Century class, and then stopped by Acme and got some more soda, since we’re almost out, and then went over to Chili’s. Work wasn’t too bad at all. I ended up walking out of there with $77 which isn’t that bad for a Monday night. I had this crazy table, but it ended up working out fine. I got home around 11:00 and wrote the paper for my Brain and Mind class, showered, had dinner, and wnet to bed.

This morning I woke up at 9:00 again. Christina and I got ready for class, and then we caught the shuttle to school with Joe, Keith, Dave and Eric. I had my European history class, which wasn’t as boring as it usually was, and then I went to lunch. Lunch was pretty good … a lot of people were there which was fun. After lunch, I went to western civ and then brain and mind, and then I hung out at the Hawk office for a while, doing some of the things that I needed to do for tomorrow’s issue, especially since I have to work tomorrow night. I came back here, talked to my mom for a while, straightened my hair and now I’m watching some television and updating this. Cathy’s coming up in a couple of minutes and we’re gonna make some dinner and watch something on television. So … that sounds fun.

So … fun weekend, I have to say. Friday morning, when I woke up I was actually pretty sick. I think I felt worse than I had at any other point during the cold. But I got up, took some Dayquil, and took the shuttle to campus. My first two classes were torture. I felt exhausted and kept wanting to fall asleep, but the Dayquil was making me excessively jumpy … like I felt like I was having nervous twitches and then my mind would be constantly racing. It was such a weird dichotomy; I didn’t know my body could be feeling those two ways simultaneously. So … marketing wasn’t that bad. I volunteered a little bit, which was nice. That class requires constant attention. Law was like pulling teeth, but I think it was because eof the way I was feeling. After law, I went to lunch. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t feeling bad because of something I had eaten or anything like that, but because I was really sick. But I didn’t feel much better, so I headed over the health center. It took a while, but they gave me some strong medicine, which I appreciated. But, by that point, it was 1:15. So I didn’t want to go to my 1:00 Western Civ class, since I would be really embarrassed for coming in late. So I ended up heading back to Merion Gardens, since I felt horrendous. I came back, took a shower, and then lied down to take a nap. But the Dayquil was still in full effect, so I couldn’t really fall asleep. But I laid there for a couple of hours and watched some television, and I honestly felt much better afterwards. I didn’t actually fall asleep, but I rested for a while, which was nice. Cathy came over and hung out with me for a while, and we watched this really corny Hilary Duff romantic comedy “The Perfect Man”. Pat came over for a while in the middle and hung out; he had brought me the notes that I had missed from my 2:00 class, and we just hung out. Cathy and I finished the movie and then got ready for the night. We came upstairs and met everyone and then headed to the King of Prussia mall. We got dinner, which was fun, then Dave, Bob and I went to see Underworld II, while everyone else went shopping. It was soooo much gorier than the first movie. I enjoyed it, don’t get me wrong, but there was overwhelming gore. But … I liked that I had just seen the first one the night before, because I totally understood what was going on in the plot and story-line. So … that was fun. We came back to Merion Gardens after the movie and hung out in Cathy’s apartment for a while. We watched some funny flash videos online, and then we played Scene It movie edition, girls against guys. Lots of fun. Afterwards, some people went to go see Brian’s band play at ‘til 2, and then Julie, Dave, and Will came over to my apartment and we watched a couple more episodes of Gilmore Girls season 5. Fun times. I ended up going to bed around 2:00, which was good, since I wasn’t feeling well.

Saturday night, I slept until around 11:30. I woke up, got ready, and then met Cathy, Ginene and Will. Steph was at home working, and Will had invited us to come with them to go visit STeph at work at her restaurant. Apparently, it’s had really great food, so we agreed to go with him. It was pretty good food I have to say; I had a fun time. We came back, Cathy and I finished the movie we were watching and just hung out and had a fun time bonding. At night, we came upstairs and hung out for a while and watched the end of Gilmore Girls Season Five. We finally finished!! So that was exciting. Afterwards, we headed over to Will’s apartment for his party. It was a fun party. I ended up drinking more than I had wanted, btu I didn’t get sick or really drunk, so it was good. It’s just that Joe Pangaro and I were playing beer pong and we kept winning. I had a pretty strong drink before hand, but then when we started playing, we made it so half the cups were mine. So we just put some mixed drink in half of them and then beer in his. However, we won three games in a row, and hten lost the fourth, but each game all of my cups ended up being hit. And then before we left, I had another drink and then did a shot, so I was pretty tipsy. Cathy and Bob drove us to ‘til 2, which was a lot of fun. I was tipsy and Dvae was downright drunk, so it was fun. However, it soon wore off, and we headed back. We hung out at the party for a while longer, and then went to Larry’s for snacks. When we got back, everyone had gotten kicked out of Will’s apartment, so we headed back to the guys’ apartment. We hung out for a bit, watched a bit of X2. Everyone else came back, and it was fun. I ended up going to bed around 4:00.

This morning, I woke up around noon. I laid in bed for a while, watching television and playing on the internet. Ginene IM’d me though, and apparently Cathy had broken up with Ted and was really upset (since they’ve been dating for almost three years). So I went downstairs and hung out with her for most of the day. We talked for a while, watched ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding’, ordered pizza for lunch, watched ‘The Notebook’, and generally just had girly bonding. Then, instead of having dinner, me, Ginene, Cathy, Christina and Julie went out and had more girly bonding and went to this great fondue place. It’s called “The Melting Pot”, and we just got dessert, which was amazing. I really loved it. They gave you fruit, and cake, and marshmallow’s and brownies, and then lots of fun chocolately fondues to dip them in. It was pretty much amazing, I have to say. We came back here, and then Christina and I went to the newspaper staff meeting. Afterwards, I came back with Justin and Dave, and I came upstairs. We watched Family Guy and American Dad, and now I’m watching Guys and Dolls with Dave, Joe and Julie. I’ll do a little more homework, but I’d like ot get to bed early since I’m still not feeling completely well.

So I haven’t really updated all week. I keep intending too, but I just don’t end up. It’s just that I guess I feel so much busier and there’s so much more going on, that it’s hard for me to sit down and actually take the time to write what has happened in my day and what’s going on. But, then, I like going back later on and looking at what happened, and it makes me have a lot of happy memories. So … I still try to.

Well … Monday the first whole week back to school started. I had class in the morning, both of which were good, then I went to lunch, and then came back to Merion Gardens. I hung out talking with Christina and watching television. The whole afternoon passed really quickly … much faster than I had thought it would. I drove Christina to babysitting, came back here, called Katie and talked with her for a while, and just basically did everything possible to avoid doing homework. Around 5:00, I went downstairs and made dinner with Cathy and Ginene. So, that was fun. I hung out there for a bit, and then came upstairs and hung out here for the rest of the night. I did a bunch of homework, and then I watched 24, which is getting more and more enjoyable. I almost wish that I had been watching it all along, since I really enjoy it a lot. So, I basically just hung out there for the rest of the night.

Tuesday was kinda an intense day. I had Europe in the 20th Century in the morning. Kind of boring, since it’s an hour and fifteen minutes of straight lecture, but, it’s easy to take notes. Afterwards, we went to lunch, where we had a really awkward conversation that ended up causing all sorts of problems later. Basically, we were talking about housing, which is always a really tense subject. But, we had known for a while that me, Christina and Julie were going to live together next year. And then, since we wanted to live in Merion Gardens and couldn’t live here with only three people, we asked Trinica if she wanted to live with us as well. But Trinica didn’t tell us until recently that she was going abroad next semester, which means that she can’t register for housing. So that kind of screwed us. Because now we’re three people again looking for a room in Merion Gardens. And Christina is applying for R.A. If Christina gets R.A., it’s no big deal, because then Julie and I can just get a room and live together. But, if Christina doesn’t get R.A., we need another person to make us four. But it’s really hard to find someone and say, do you want to live with us next year if Christina doesn’t make R.A. But, in all likelihood, Christina thinks she’s not going to get R.A., which means that we are going to need someone else. But, basically, there ended up being a whole big argument about what we were doing … argument is the wrong word, I guess, but we were having a really big discussion about what we were doing, and then we moved on. But that afternoon, sitting in classes, I started thinking and realizing that maybe Julie took something we said the wrong way. Because she wasn’t really talking much. So, I met up with Christina in the newspaper office, and we were talking about it, and we decided to write Julie an e-mail, just in case she was upset, so we could just tell her why exactly we were thinking the way we were. Because … I didn’t want her to think that I wasn’t excited to live with her next year, because I’m totally psyched. I mean, here at St. Joe’s, she and Christina are my closest girl friends. And … I really think next year is gonna be awesome and we’re gonna have tons of fun living together. So … we explained what we were thinking … then, afterwards, we asked Justin to read it before we emailed it, just to make sure that it made sense when you didn’t know where we were coming for beforehand. So we emailed her that. I came back here, hung out for a bit, and then went out to dinner with Cathy at the Great American Pub. So, that was a fun time. We came back, and I hung around for a bit and did some reading for a while that I had to have done for the nest day. Then Julie came downstairs, and she and I actually talked. It was a good talk, and I’m glad we did. And, to be honest, I’m really glad that she and I had that talk. Because … it just cleared a lot of stuff up. ThenJulie talked to Christina for a bit, and then the three of us just hung around a bit in our living room and watched television, flipped through magazines, and talked. So that was fun. I came upstairs, got my stuff back, and then came back downstairs. Around 1:30, Joe came down, and Joe, Christina and I talked. But … it was nice talk. Joe was upset, because I guess he was told that Christina and I were talking about the whole situation at the newspaper office and had said that Joe was demanding that Christina live with Julie. So, he was upset about that. So we talked, and we explained to him our reasoning. But … it all worked out.

Yesterday was an insanely busy day. I had marketing at 10:00, then law. I went to lunch, did some things for newspaper quickly. Then I had western civ and then brain and mind. After brain and mind, I went to the newspaper office for a bit and finished up my stuff, since deadline was that night. Then I went to work. This was the first night back, but we weren’t that busy. So, since I was the first person in, I was the first person cut. So, luckily, I got cut at 8:00. Even though I didn’t have that many sales, I got tipped really well all night, so I was in a great mood. I went straight to the newspaper office and was there until around midnight. I was ridiculously tired, since I haven’t been feeling well and actually have a really bad cold right now.

This morning, I woke up for my 10:00 class. I got up, got dressed, and then went with Christina to meet Eric and Joe to catch the shuttle. So we took the shuttle to campus, and then I had Europe in the 20th century. Boring, as it usually is, but, to be honest, not as bad as I was expecting. I went to lunch afterwards, and then came back here with Joe and Christina. I came upstairs, did some homework, and am now just hanging out with Eric and Joe. So … fun times.

So … yesterday I went back to Connecticut. It was a pretty long day, to be honest. I was woken up at 10:30 by Joe, Eric and Keith running into the apartment, shouting, “You promised to make us pancakes!!” So Christina and I woke up, and ended up talking for a while with them, and then me and Joe made breakfast – we’d made pancakes with Bisquick and bacon and cinnamon toast … it was a pretty good breakfast. Julie came downstairs and we all had breakfast. So … it was fun. It was nice to just all hang out; I enjoyed it. Afterwards, everyone went back upstairs; Keith got ready to head back to his house, and Joe and Julie got ready to head to Connecticut with me and Christina. So … Christina showered, and Christina and I got packed and got ready to head back to Connecticut. So … we came upstairs and met Joe and Julie. We decided that Julie was going to drive instead of me, since she and Joe were going to go visit her friend Lauren at Yale later on that night and she felt it would be awkward if she took my car. So we left Merion Gardens, and then we drove down to the ATM so Joe could get some money. We stopped at Chili’s and got my hours for this week, and then we drove to Rite Aid to buy some snacks for the trip there. So, finally we left for Connecticut. Julie ended up driving until the last rest stop on the New Jersey turnpike, and then Joe took over. It was a pretty fun car ride. We pretty much just talked the entire way, and I had a really good time. It was a fun adventure. We got on the highways the wrong way twice after the George Washington, but it was a fun little adventure. We got back to Connecticut and we drove straight to my house.

So, I started my laundry, and we sat around the house and talked a lot. Then we headed down to Pazza Cucina. It was really sad and I felt really emotional. But I didn’t cry. So we sat down at the table, and we ordered tons of food. But it was fun, since we weren’t gonna pay for it at all, so it was all cool. Dinner was a lot of fun. Joe kept calling everyone at school and acting like he was trashed, and telling them all that we had been at the restaurant for hours drinking, and we were all drunk out of our mind. And then Chrisitna started sending them all misspelled text messages, so they thought we were all drunk. So they started texting back funny messages and acting crazy on the phone, so it was all fun. After dinner, we hung around for a little bit, stole the glasses and the pitcher that Joe wanted, and just hung out with everyone. Joe and Julie ended up leaving to head to Yale, but Christina stayed with me, which was really nice of her. So … we had a fun time just hanging out. We took crazy pictures, and then we stole stuff from the restaurant and we had a really fun night. It was kinda sad, but it was overall enjoyable. So, we closed up the restaurant, said goodbye to Pazza Cucina, and then headed over to Matt’s house. Katie drove me and Christina, and then she left to go meet Dave for a short time. So … we went inside and reminisced a bit and played some poker. So it was a fun time. I’m glad I went. Joe and Julie came back around 1:30-2:00 and then we left and headed back to my house. We had Gilmore Girls, so we started watching Gilmore Girls Season Five, and only made it through half an episode before we fell asleep. So … we had set the alarm for 10:30, so we snoozed until 11:00 and got up. We packed up, made some sandwiches to bring in the car for lunch, and then when he headed back to school. It was a good drive back. We made wonderful time and didn’t have to stop at all, and we just talked the whole way back, and it was just a lot of fun. All in all, I’m really glad I went back. It wasn’t as emotional as I feared it would be, but I’m glad that I had a chance to say goodbye and I fear I would have always regretted it if I didn’t go back for the closing. And I’m so grateful that Joe, Julie and Christina came with me, since I would have been so much more sad and emotional if I felt like I was alone and didn’t have them there. So … I’m just so glad that I went and they came with me.

We got back to ST. Joe’s around 2:30. We unpacked, and then we headed upstairs, and just hung out here for the rest of the day. Keith and Christina ended up having a talk, and now theyr’e dating, and I’m so happy about it. Since I think they’re really cute together. So … I’m happy about that. I did my homework for tomorrow, and we watched another episode of Gilmore Girls, and watched some football. I called Katie a couple of hours ago and we just talked, and it was nice to talk to her. And then I called Chris and talked to him for a while. The Country Club closed for a month and a half, so he’s only working at Carmen Anthony’s now, so he promised he’d try to come visit me if he had a couple days off in a row. I doubt it will actually happen, but I really hope it does, since I miss him tons. So … we talked for a while, and now I’m typing this up and watching Will and Grace. I think I’m gonna go get ready for bed, since I want tons of sleep.

So … today was one of the most intense days I’ve had in a really long time. And I don’t really know how I feel about it yet. From the very beginning, it was very intense day, and I haven’t really processed everything yet. I was woken up around 3:00 in the morning by Will coming into the room. Apparently he and Steph got into another really huge scary fight and they had broken up, and he was just really upset. So Christina and I were up with him until like 4:45 in the morning. So it kinda really just disrupted my sleep a lot. I mean, I’m glad I was able to comfort him, and I’m glad he came, but it kinda ruined my sleep for the night. So I went back to bed and slept until 9:00. I woke up, got ready for class, and then met Cathy and Bob down in the lobby. The day started pretty good. I had a solid day of classes. Marketing was pretty good; law class was enjoyable. I had lunch afterwards, which was fun. We just talked a lot and had a good time. I had western civ and brain and mind. On the way back from Brain and Mind, Pat and I were stopped by people working a the radio station who gave us free t-shirts. So … sweet. So … we waited a while for the shuttle, talking, and then we came back. I headed down to Chili’s, and talked to Janet about my schedule which is exciting. I told her I was only available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and I only wanted to work 2 nights a week. SO … it worked out pretty well. I came back to the apartment, and hung out with Christina for a while. Will came over and we talked for a while, about him and Steph breaking up, and he was really upset. So he invited me and Christina over for dinner, so we went over to B-tower. We hung out with Will, Bob and Pat for a while, and then Will made dinner. Dinner was fun; I had a good time.

However, after dinner, the night pretty much went downhill at the fastest grade possible. Pretty much the most drama-filled night that I have ever had; and I’ve had some drama-filled nights so that’s saying a lot. So … right after dinner, I got a call from Jeannie. Apparently, Pazza Cucina is closing. For good. Tomorrow. And Jeannie just found out this afternoon. So … I’m really upset about that actually. Really upset. For reasons that are, at the same time, very obvious and exceedingly complex. I mean … I had a really great time working there. For the most part, when I come home, it is the largest portion of my life and probably the main reason I enjoy coming home. I know that it’s not the restaurant itself but the people. And I will still see the people, which makes this fear a little irrational. However, it won’t be the same. It won’t ever be the same again. We’ll never all be able to hang out and have so much in common and be the same people we are now. We’ll never manage to do that. And that scares me. And I’m afraid. And I’m really going to miss it. And I don’t really know what to do about it. So … I talked to Jeannie for a while about it, and I started thinking about whether I’d want to go home. She said they were having a party, and I really wanted to go, so I figured I would. But then … it’s a really long drive. So I didn’t really decide anything. I called Chris, but he was at work, obviously, since it’s a Saturday night. But I kinda just really wanted to talk to him about it. So … I didn’t really know what to make of it all. I came back here and talked to Christina, and she said she’d go back with me, so I think I’m going to go. So I called Katie and work and talked with her for a bit, and was glad to hear that she also felt sad about it and thought about crying. Because … I felt exactly the same way. I called my parents then to tell them that I’d most likely be coming home tomorrow, and I talked to mom about it for a bit.

I went upstairs for a while, where they were having a power hour tonight. It was pretty funny … Julie had gotten this program for her ipod, which is designed for a power hour. It takes sixty songs and plays one minute each of them. And then, when the song changes, you do a shot of beer. So it was kinda cool. Also, if you input your sex and body weight, it can tell you your blood/alcohol content with each subsequent shot, which is a fun statistic. So … that was actually pretty fun. Dave and I had a couple of fun conversations which I enjoyed, including: “When I call you a bitch, it just means that I love you.” So, after that, we kinda just hung around a bit. Around 10:00, I called back to the restaurant and talked with Katie and Matt for a bit. So that was nice. But afterwards, I just got really upset. I think it just started to sink in a bit how much things were gonna change. And that really scared me. So Justin sat with me for a bit, and then I felt better so we went upstairs. But then I started crying again, so I sat outside with Will for a long time, and he just talked to me. Joe Riculli came out, and he got Christina, so we sat together for a while. I was just really emotional. Also funny was when Joe came out and asked me, in all honesty, whether I was upset about Keith and Christina. But … I felt better, and went inside, and actually had a couple of great conversations with Julie. I really enjoy talking with her a lot, and wish we talked more. But … it was nice. I hung out for a bit with Dave, Justin, Chris and Lindsey. Steph came over, and she and Will seemingly got back together. However, at about 1:00, Steph and Will got into a HUGE fight. Will was pretty much the scariest I had seen him in a long time. He and STeph started screaming at each other in the hallway, and then Will ran back into the apartment slamming doors pretty much the hardest I have ever seen anyone slam doors. STeph got really scared and ran away, not surprisingly. Unfortunately, Will came in, and tried to hit Keith, luckily unsuccessfully. Then he collapsed on the floor and started crying. He cried for about ten minutes, and then wanted to go home, so Mike and I walked him back. When we got there though, Joe was there with Steph. So we were really afraid of what might happen, since Will was so angry, so we waited in the kitchen while they talked. About 20 minutes later, we hear Steph start shrieking and a loud bang. So Joe and Mike run out, and find Steph running away, and Will’s cell phone shattered into a million pieces. Steph was in the hallway, scared, and Joe and Chris and Mike were trying to pull Will back into the apartment. So Justin and I sat down with STeph down the hall and just tried to comfort her, while everyone else dealt with Will. But then they talked, and I guess now everything is fine. At least until they get into their next fight.

So … drama filled. And something’s happening with Keith and Christina that I know nothing about, and I don’t want to go home on one hand, but on the other, I really do. But, as the plan stands right now, tomorrow afternoon I head home to Connecticut with Christina, Joe and Julie. We go to dinner at Pazza Cucina and then we go to Matt’s party afterwards. And then Sunday morning we come back here and spend all day Sunday doing homework. So …

So, I’ve been getting settled back into a somewhat ordinary routine. Last night, Christina and I made dinner before she had her night class. We’ve been trying to actually eat dinner more often, and we’ve been getting better. However, we’ll have to see how long that actually lasts. So, we had dinner, and then Christina went to night class, and I hung around for a bit and did some homework. I straightened up the apartment, chatted with people online, and basically did whatever was possible to avoid actually doing homework. I also went over to the Hawk office for a little bit and did some of the work I needed to do as advertising manager. At 8:00, I watched last weeks’ episode of Lost on television, and then I watched this week’s at 9:00. I’m really getting into that show now. After Lost was over, I came upstairs and hung out with everyone all night. We all (me, Christina, Dave, Keith, Joe, Julie, Sarah, Eric) all sat in the guys’ living room and basically just talked for hours. Most of us had laptops or homework that we should have been doing, and Dave and Joe were taking turns playing Zelda, but we just talked for a really long time. It was one of those rare conversations where everyone just talks a lot about themselves and their childhood and growing up, and you kinda feel like you’re bonding with everyone at the same time. So … it was an enjoyable conversation. I ended up going to bed around 1:00.

This morning, I woke up at 9:00. Christina and I got ready for class, and then we met Dave, Eric and Joe and took the shuttle to campus. I only had one class today, Europe in the 20th Century, so I went to that at 10:00. Seems like a good class. A little scary in that there’s a midterm, final and 18 pg. term paper, and those are our only three grades. Not much room to make mistakes. But … I think the class is going to be interesting as a whole, so it’ll just be a lot of work at certain times. So, hopefully, it’s going to be manageable. Afterwards, I went to lunch and hung out with everyone there. At a little bit after noon, Pat and I caught a shuttle back to Merion Gardens. I went back to the apartment, and then watched X2 with Christina for a while in the afternoon. Afterwards, I did some homework, then drove Christina to babysitting. I came back here, started some homework, talked to my mom and Jeannie for a bit. I watched a little bit of television, and then made a pizza with Cathy for dinner. But Christina came home early from babysitting, so the three of us had dinner. Afterwards, we sat around in the living room for a bit and just talked for a while. Cathy left, and Christina and I watched some television, and then drove over to campus to go to the newspaper meeting. The newspaper meeting was pretty good, I guess. I feel bad, but Vince wants me to do some more stuff. But I’m already making a really big commitment to newspaper, much bigger than I had ever wanted to, and I don’t know if I really have enough time to make a bigger commitment. So … hopefully it’ll all work out. I came back here ,and then came upstairs and have been hanging out here for the rest of the night. I did my reading for Brain and Mind and History, and now I’m updating this. I’ll go shower in a little bit, and then I’ll probably just watch a movie with everyone. So … yeah.

Monday during the day, we kinda just all hung out. Everyone was back, so we spent most of the day just hanging around and catching up on all that had gone on during break. We watched a lot of random television, and just really did nothing. Christina and I also went grocery shopping and spent almost $200.00. But we have groceries for a long time, which is nice. Hopefully for a while. We tried to be smart, because we usually end up buying too many groceries that go bad too quickly, so we tried to find more frozen stuff, so we have enough things to make dinner, but it’s not all perishable. So we got back, unpacked all the groceries. Then we talked with Joe, and decided we were gonna do dinner with the guys upstairs. So we brought up all our taco stuff, and we made a big dinner for the A607 guys, Julie and Sarah, and me and Christina. So we made the tacos and the guys made cheeseburgers and vegetables, and French fries and we just had a huge dinner. So it was nice that we were all able to have a big dinner together, without actually going out and spending money. So that was all good. For the rest of the night, we just hung around the common room and watched television. We saw the second half of the 24 premiere. I really am getting into that show. I talked to Chris for over a half an hour, which was nice to catch up. Since I really miss him when I’m at school. Around 11:30, we started a massive game of cranium, girls against guys. It was kidna unfair, since the girl’s team was me, Christina, Sarah and Julie and the guys team was Mike, Dave, Eric, Keith, Joe, Justin and Bob. Oh well. We were tied most of the game, but the guys ended up winning. However, afterwards, Joe told us that he and Bob cheated at the end, and made us spell a word backwards that should have been forced to spell forwards. And we got it wrong, but we would have spelled it correctly forwards. So … that was that.

Tuesday, yesterday, classes started. Christina and I woke up at 9:00 and got ready, and then met the guys downstairs to catch the shuttle. So we took the shuttle to campus. My first class, Europe in the 20th Century, I’m not really sure what to think of it. The professor has a really strange sense of humor. But there’s not that many people in the class, and I think the topic is interesting, so hopefully it’s pretty good. I’m just afraid he’ll be really difficult, which makes me nervous. But … I’m still reserving judgment. I haven’t even gotten the syllabus yet, but he’ll give it to us tomorrow, and then I’ll figure it out. Afterwards, I went to the newspaper office quickly, and then went to lunch. After lunch, I went to my western civ class. I think it’s actually going to be interesting, and it should be an easy ‘A’. So, I’m actually looking forward to that class. After that class, I headed over to Claver for my Brain and Mind class. But we sat there for 20 minutes, and the professor never came, so we just left. I can’t believe the professor missed the first day of class; I didn’t think that really happened. So ... I came on the bus with Pat back to Merion Gardens. I watched a little bit of television with Christina and then did some of the homework I had already gotten. At 5:00, when Cathy got back from work, I talked with her for a bit. Then Cathy and I went out to dinner at Bertucci’s. I hadn’t really seen her since she’d been back, so it was really nice to catch up with her about what had happened over her break. When we got back to Merion Gardens, I talked with Katie for a bit on the phone, and then went upstairs for the rest of the night. We watched a lot of Batman, the Animated cartoon, and I did a little bit of homework, but all in all, we just hung out. Keith made us milkshakes, which was a lot of fun. Then I came back downstairs and went to bed around one.

Wednesday, today, I had classes again today. I woke up at 9:15, and then met Cathy and Bob in the lobby. Cathy drove to campus, and I went to my Marketing class. I think I’m going to enjoy this class. There’s actually two different professors; one of them is 85 years old and really funny without intending to be funny. The other one, who Dr. Leahy calls the ‘young man’, is in his 60s. But they’re both really nice, and I think I’m gonna enjoy the class. Afterwards, I met Cathy and we went to our honors law class. I also think I’m going to like that class. But again, I want to reserve judgment until I know more about the class. After class, I went to lunch and met everyone there. Lunch was fun; we just had a really good time. After lunch, I went to western civ again. And then I went to Brain and Mind class. That class is going to be really difficult, I think, but it has a lot of potential to be interesting. So … hopefully it is. Pat and I walked over to the shuttle, and we met, Brian, Joe, Keith and Dave there. So we waited for the shuttle, and then we took the shuttle back to Merion Gardens. I came up here, talked with Christina for a bit, and now I’m watching Full House on abc Family and writing this. I still have a bunch of homework to do tonight and I’ll hang out with everyone tonight, and it’ll be enjoyable.
